Flower for use on hats (or whatever):
Row 1: Chain 2, 8 sc in first chain,
join with slip stitch in first sc.
Row 2: Chain 2, 3 dc in same sc, chain 2, slip stitch in same sc. [Slip stitch in next sc, 3 dc in same sc, ch 2 slip stitch in same sc] repeat instructions in [ ]around. Join with a slip stitch.
There should be 8 petals to the flower.
